Pope expressed his thanks to the people of the Czech Republic

Before leaving, the Holy Father briefly addressed the staff of the apostolic nunciature in Prague. He then traveled by car to the Ruzyně Airport, where the ceremony took place. President Václav Klaus as well as Pope Benedict XVI held speeches at the ceremony.

The Holy Father expressed his sincere gratitude for the hospitality received during his visit, especially he was grateful to the President and to all the organizers of the meetings he had in our country. He then parted with the gathered people and at 6.14 pm he left for Rome, thus concluding his thirteenth apostolic journey.
